Super clean and well appointed apartment that's central to DC but quiet enough to unwind and walk around.

We stayed at this location in Alexandria for a quick 4 night trip to see some sights and some friends - it was great! Well priced and a great location - it had everything we needed for traveling with a toddler. The kitchen, washer and dryer came in handy, and it was certainly spacious enough for our family of 3. The parking garage was perfect, and we felt very safe. The only hiccup was the electronic lock that didn't work and I wasn't aware of how to access the garage for parking, but I got assistance right away so we were informed on the location for the physical key as well as the fob for the garage. A really great place - we hope to be back for our next trip!

We particularly enjoyed the location of this unit but don’t think we’ll ever stay in a unit with a Roku streaming service. All we wanted was some place to get local/national news and weather and that’s not easily possible with Roku. In addition, the kitchen was poorly furnished - not enough silverware and some of the pots/pans were missing. It’s a good think I brought along my own herbs and spices because the ones in the kitchen were grey they were so old. (These things have a shelf life of about a year and then have to be thrown out and start over.) But we appreciated the addition of the blackout drapes in the unit. We were also able to get rid of the huge comforter on the bed (who needs one of those when it was in the mid-high 90s when we arrived) and use a much lighter blanket. Other than those things, we had a good stay but again, we’ll never stay in a unit that’s got only Roku TV.

My stay was at a one bedroom apartment at 706 Washington Ave in Alexandria. I thought the location was excellent especially for a longer stay in the area. Nice space with a really spacious patio for sun in the evening to the west. I had some difficulty getting in when I checked in because of website/app issues but was able to call a number for fairly quick response. Very spacious closet, nice bathroom, large kitchen / dining / living room combination and comfortable for sleeping. Seemed fairly newly remodeled. Some obvious wear and tear on the blinds but otherwise clean and comfortable with some extra gear in the closet like a stroller for small children. I would stay here again.
